المملكة: To enhance the national identity with the souls of students .. Jeddah education celebrates the Day of Science

The Jeddah Education Department today organized a celebration of the Day of Science, which falls on March 11 of each year, which is the day that King Abdulaziz – may God have mercy on him – approved his current form, a symbol of monotheism, strength, development and prosperity.

Enhancing respect for science

The Director General of Education in Jeddah, Manal Al -Lahibi, explained that the celebration that took place at the level of schools on the Day of Science aims to enhance the respect of science in the hearts of male and female students, enrich their minds with its meanings and history, to consolidate the importance of their good citizenship, and to enhance their national identity by knowing the stages of the development of the Saudi flag, its amendments and protocols, in addition to the instructions related to its lifting or folding, and violations related to its use.

Celebration activities

She pointed out that the celebrations of schools on the day of science included renewing and raising the Saudi flag, and allocating ten minutes from the first session to talk about, in addition to organizing a cultural competition entitled “My Culture is the Secret of My Excellence”, and another entitled “My Word on the Day of Science”, in addition to allocating artistic education topics to activate the occasion.
