Pictures | The Literature Authority reviews the Saudi cultural heritage at the London Book Fair
The CEO of the Literature, Publishing and Translation Authority, Abdul Latif Al -Wasel, confirmed that the Authority at the London International Book Fair seeks through its three sectors (literature, publishing, translation) to highlight its efforts in supporting and developing the literary movement, and enhancing the presence of Saudi publishers in international forums.
Global Cultural Movement
He continued: It also aims to enable literary agencies and Saudi publishing houses, believing in the importance of communication between the local and international publishing sector, in addition to seeing global experiences and building practical relations, marketing local production and sector services on the international scale, reinforcing the Kingdom’s presence on the cultural and literary scene, regional and global literary scene, raising awareness of the Saudi cultural heritage, and highlighting the Kingdom’s growing contributions in the global cultural movement.

Participation aims to enhance cultural relations and knowledge exchange between the Kingdom and Britain and enrich joint cooperation in the fields of literature, publishing and translation, as well as enhancing the presence of Saudi literary publishers and literary agencies in major cultural forums regionally and globally.

The Kingdom’s pavilion at the London International Book Fair 2025 reflects its rich cultural product, reviewing various aspects of the features of culture, through an integrated experience led by the Literature, Publishing and Translation Authority, and with the participation of 5 government agencies (King Salman International Complex for Arabic, King Abdulaziz House, King Abdulaziz Public Library, King Fahd National Library, and the Publishing Association).
