An American delegation on his way to Moscow after the success of Saudi discussions

US President Donald Trump said on Wednesday that an American delegation is on his way to Moscow, after the successful talks with Ukraine in Saudi Arabia on the possibility of a ceasefire.
“We have a delegation now heading to Russia,” Trump said during the reception of Ireland Prime Minister Michel Martin at the White House.
Trump explained that the talks with Kyiv “achieved great success and that it is up to Russia now.”

A call with Putin

The American president had previously stated that he wanted to make a phone call with Russian President Vladimir Putin soon, and perhaps this week.
Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said that such a conversation is not excluded and can be organized in a short time.

But there is still ambiguity on the location and time specified for the planned personal meeting between the two heads of the two countries.

A ceasefire proposal

Ukrainian President Folodimir Zellinski said on Wednesday that acceptance of the ceasefire proposal should show that Ukraine is ready to work for peace.
