In the context of strengthening the enrichment paths of the intended, and continuing its pioneering role in spreading the tolerant values ​​of Islam, the head of religious affairs in the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque, Sheikh Dr. Abdul Rahman Al -Sudais, received in his office in the Grand Mosque, a delegation of the leaders of the Pakistani armed forces, the guests of the Ministry of Defense, stressing during the meeting the importance of spreading moderation and tolerance, and that fighting extremism and exaggeration is a collective responsibility.

Al -Sudais expressed his happiness at receiving the delegation, congratulating them by the blessed month of Ramadan, stressing the pivotal role of the Two Holy Mosques in delivering the central message of Islam to the world, and strengthening a devotional environment that contributes to enriching the experience of visitors in several languages, in line with the operational plan for the blessed month of Ramadan.

Sheikh Al -Sudais emphasized that creating the faith atmosphere, enhancing scientific and directive lessons, and intensifying awareness programs within the Two Holy Mosques, is one of the priorities of the religious presidency, explaining that this falls within the strategic goals that seek to spread noble Islamic values ​​and consolidate the moderation method.

The President of Religious Affairs pointed out that the Saudi -Pakistani relations represent a role model in Islamic cooperation, as the two wise leaderships in the two countries work to achieve security and stability and support Islamic issues, stressing that the Kingdom has not spared an effort to promote joint Islamic action, spread a culture of dialogue between civilizations, and fight hatred, extremism and Islamophobia.

Sheikh Al -Sudais addressed the Pakistani leaders, calling them to confront extremist ideas, and protect the generations arising from intellectual deviation, stressing the need to benefit from the digital media in promoting the values ​​of tolerance, and addressing everything that threatens the unity of the Islamic class.

Al -Sudais also warned of sectarianism and sectarianism, calling for the spread of the culture of tolerance and moderation that the Kingdom has adopted since its foundation, stressing that peaceful coexistence is the only way to achieve security and stability in the world, and that Islam came to consolidate the values ​​of justice, peace and cooperation between nations and peoples.
