“Salman Relief” participates in a United Nations session within the 69th session of the Women’s Status Committee

The King Salman Center for Relief and Humanitarian Works participated yesterday in a high -level session held at the United Nations headquarters in New York City, within the 69th session of the Women’s Status Committee (CSW69), with the participation of the Living and Living Fund of the Islamic Development Bank Group. US dollars, which contributed to improving the situation of millions of women, as these projects included vocational training programs and support for entrepreneurship for Yemeni women, health care programs such as obstetric surgery and gynecology in several countries, in addition to gender -based anti -social violence initiatives through awareness campaigns and survivors support programs.
In total, the King Salman Relief Center has implemented 3,361 relief and humanitarian projects in 106 countries around the world, with a total value exceeding $ 7 billion, while the center continues to expand its impact, build a sustainable infrastructure that takes into account women’s needs, and finding opportunities that support women in the most needy societies.
