12 killed by a commercial plane crash off the coast of Honduras

The authorities in Honduras said that the crash of a small commercial plane off the coast of the country killed 12 people.
The plane crashed into the sea shortly after taking off on Monday night/Tuesday from Rawatan Island on its way to the city of La Siba on the mainland.
On board the plane was 17 passengers and crew, 5 of them were rescued and taken to the hospital.

The fishermen saved the survivors

The police said that the plane failed to reach the full height and sank quickly after collision.
Local fishermen saved the survivors.
The Civil Aviation Agency said the incident was under investigation.
