Health control gives accreditation to 13 new health facilities

The General Authority for Accreditation and Health Supervision, headed by Dr. Ahmed Taha, announced today the latest decisions of the Supreme Committee for Accreditation, which included 13 new health facilities obtaining the accreditation certificate in accordance with the national quality standards issued by & nbsp; (GAHAR), in addition to renewing the accreditation of Sharm El -Sheikh International Hospital in South Sinai, to confirm its continued commitment to applying the standards of excellence in health care.
The committee’s decisions included the main family medicine center at the Suez Canal University in Ismailia to initial accreditation in accordance with the national quality standards issued by & quot;"RTL"> The committee also decided to grant Baltim Specialist Hospital in Kafr El -Sheikh Governorate & ndash; One of the governorates of the second phase of the National Health Insurance Project & ndash; Initial accreditation certificate, within the facilities affiliated with the Specialized Medical Centers at the Ministry of Health and Population.
The committee agreed to grant the accreditation certificate & nbsp; For the Sheikh Mustafa Family Medicine Unit, and the Kom Ombo Child Care Center in Aswan, in addition to the success of 5 new family medicine units of the Health Care Authority & nbsp; In obtaining initial accreditation in accordance with a public criteria, namely:
– Al-Ghanimia Family Medicine Unit in Aswan
– The Toshki Family Medicine Unit West in Aswan
– Al-Raqamah Family Medicine Unit in West in Aswan
– The Unit of Anniba Family Medicine in Aswan
-The Maliki Family Medicine Unit in Aswan

The committee also decided to grant the accreditation certificate to a number of health facilities affiliated with the private sector, namely:
– Pioneers of vision correction of eye and laser surgery, Giza Governorate."RTL"> & nbsp;
The following establishments also obtained the initial accreditation:
-Hermel Memorial Hospital, Menouf
-Ibn Sina Specialist Hospital, Giza
Dr. Ahmed Taha emphasized that the integration of roles between health services providers is a basic pillar in providing the best levels of health care for citizens, noting that each sector plays an active role in providing health services according to the highest levels of international quality. They obtained competitive medical services in high quality.
He added, that the success of new health facilities from various sectors in obtaining the accreditation certificate issued by the General Authority for Accreditation and Health Supervision (GAHAR), which is accredited by the International ESCWA, is an important step towards expanding the scope of health services, ensuring that citizens are obtaining safe and integrated care. & Nbsp;
