The “Health Specialties” Council discusses the approval of the formula of the Health Mracts Department

The Board of Trustees of the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties held its (99) meeting, in the presence of its members representatives of the governmental, private, educational and specialized sectors at the authority’s headquarters in Riyadh.

The council blessed the success of the Hajj season (1446 AH), and the efforts of the health system that provided more than (172) thousand health services with high efficiency and quality.

The council reviewed the performance indicators for the second quarter of the year, and the most prominent targets, projects and initiatives within the tasks and roles of the authority.

The Council discussed the approval of the formula of the health practitioner department, to ensure the consolidation of the ethics stipulated in the practice of health professions in the Kingdom, and also touched on the development of clinical tests to keep pace with the latest professional practices in assessing health competencies.

The Council praised what was achieved during the last period, and the positive impact achieved by the authority through its external participation, including participating in the work of the seventy -eighth session of the World Health Society (WHA78), in Geneva, the World Federation for Medical Education (2025) in Thailand, and the International Biotechnology Conference in Boston, USA.

The Council stressed the importance of following up the progress of businesses, projects and development initiatives to achieve the authority’s targets to develop health professional performance and develop and encourage skills, noting its efforts in achieving integration with the targets of the health sector transformation program.
