Hawaii .. Kilawia volcano resumes its eruption after a week

The most active Hawaiian volcano (Berkane Kelawiya) resumed its eruption on Wednesday, after a week -long stop.
The Kilawiya volcano began to launch volcanic lava continuously from the nozzle of its summit inside the Hawaiian National Park at 0926 am local time, according to the American Geological Survey.
Monotolic rocks were contained inside the garden, and they did not pose a threat to residential areas.

12 times

The volcano began its current eruption on December 23, stopped and resumed more than 12 times since then.
The shortest eruption period lasted 13 hours, while the longest period of 8 days lasted.

Each time, the volcano ejaculated high in the sky from the nozzle holes, creating a dramatic scene of the garden visitors.

The sixth eruption

This is the sixth eruption registered at the Kilawiya Summit since 2020.
The Hawaiian National Park includes the summits of two of the most active volcanoes in the world, Kelawiya and Muna Lua.
Kelawiya also revolted in June and September 2024.
