Russia’s budget deficit jumps to 3.7 trillion rubles in the first half of the year

The Russian federal budget deficit recorded a sharp leap in the first half of 2025 to reach about 3.7 trillion rubles (41.4 billion dollars), equivalent to 1.7 percent of GDP, according to the data of the Russian Ministry of Finance,
