Abu Dhabi Police enhances the culture of reading among its employees, coinciding with "Reading month"

Al Ain, March 23 / WAM / The Writers and Reading Committee of the General Command of Abu Dhabi Police and the police heritage organized a cultural symposium entitled “Reading lines .. between the present and the past” in the Museum of the Merbox Police in Al Ain in the presence of a number of associates and the participation of members of all of us police coinciding with the National Reading Month March of each year.

The symposium aims to enhance the culture of reading between the leaders of leadership and its consolidation as a tool for progress and sustainable development.

Lt. Col. Nasser Abdullah Al -Saadi, Chairman of the Writers and Reading Committee at Abu Dhabi Police, stressed that reading represents the cornerstone of building security and national thought, noting that reading is an essential tool for developing cognitive capabilities and personal skills, and enabling individuals to keep pace with continuous developments in their professional and personal fields.

He added that the Abu Dhabi Police believes in the importance of enhancing the culture of reading among its employees, as it is an essential pillar of achieving progress and sustainable development, as well as its role in expanding the horizons of thought and creativity, which contributes to enhancing security and stability within society.

Dr. Taghreed Saif Al -Dari, head of the Administrative Affairs Department at the Al Ain Police Directorate in Abu Dhabi Police, spoke about the most prominent creative and developmental achievements that she carried out in the police march through the establishment of the security innovation laboratory in the criminal security sector, and her unique literary experience in issuing its first novel in 2024 entitled “The Caller of Heart and Law”, as a step that reflects its interest in literature and culture Reading in various security and social fields, and its distinguished contributions to preparing and publishing many research and studies that enhance security work.

Captain Munther Kamidash Al -Kaabi, director of the Museums Branch and Heritage Buildings, dealt with the role of Abu Dhabi Police in preserving the sustainability of security and safety, and providing the best police services to enhance the quality of the life of society, pointing to the importance of the police heritage and the ancient history of the Abu Dhabi Police and its march between the past and the present within its various historical stages and its old and modern military holdings.
