“Securities” recover 4.1 million dirhams for investors through friendly settlements during 2024

The Securities and Commodities Authority, through friendly settlements, was able to recover amounts of up to 4.1 million dirhams for the benefit of investors during the year 2024, as a result of the relentless efforts made by the authority in conducting friendly settlements and benefiting from the service of submitting complaints and requests for financial market transactions through the authority’s website.
Walid Saeed Al -Awadi, CEO of the Authority, said that the authority’s success in recovering these large sums confirms its firm commitment to protecting investors and enhancing confidence in financial markets, by developing effective mechanisms to resolve conflicts and ensuring the rights of all parties and dealers in the financial markets.
He added that the service of submitting complaints and requests for financial market transactions is one of the most important tools for achieving justice and the speed of response to the demands of investors, as this service is formed, in addition to the efforts made through friendly settlements, a basic pillar in the authority’s system to protect investors and enhance market stability.
This achievement, according to the authority, reflects the efficiency and elasticity of the organizational framework and its ability to respond to all different challenges in the financial markets.
The authority confirmed, in a press statement issued today, its continuation in developing its services and mechanisms to ensure a safe and transparent investment environment, with an invitation to all investors to benefit from the service of submitting complaints and electronic requests in the event of facing any problems in their dealings in the financial markets through the authority’s website.
