5 billion dirhams, the value of transactions completed within the first real estate ownership program in Dubai

Dubai, June 8 / WAM / The Dubai Land Department, in partnership with the Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism, announced the success of the First Property Ownership Program in enabling more than 3,200 residents to own a home for the first time in Dubai since its launch in July 2025, while the value of residential real estate transactions completed through the program exceeded five billion dirhams.
This achievement reflects the increasing demand among residents to benefit from the program, which targets individuals aged 18 years and above who do not own a freehold residential property in Dubai, which contributes to expanding ownership opportunities and enhancing the emirate’s position as a global destination for living, working and investing.
During its final phase, the program witnessed the joining of nine new real estate developers through new strategic agreements, bringing the total number of participating developers to 22 developers since the launch of the program. This allows first-time buyers a wider choice of residential units, locations, and prices to meet various needs and aspirations.
The program is supported by five banks that provide financing solutions to qualified buyers, which enhances ease of access to residential ownership and supports the stability of residents in the long term.
The program comes within the framework of Dubai’s commitment to enabling residents to own their homes and enhancing the sustainability of the real estate market by aligning government policies with market requirements and the needs of beneficiaries in a way that enhances investor confidence, attracts international talent, and supports its stability.
The expansion of the program represents a step in support of the objectives of the Dubai Economic Agenda D33 and the Dubai Real Estate Strategy 2033, which aim to raise home ownership rates, enhance the real estate sector’s contribution to the gross domestic product, and consolidate Dubai’s position as a global model for sustainable urban development.
