Two earthquakes of 7.7 and 7.3 Richter hit Myanmar and Thailand

An earthquake measuring 7.7 on the Richter scale struck in central Myanmar on Friday. The US Geological Survey reported that the earthquake struck an area located 16 km northwest of the city of Saging at a depth of 10 km.
An earthquake measuring 7.3 on the Richter Bangkok, the capital of Thailand, was also struck, while there were no immediate reports of damage.
The German GFZ Center for Earth Sciences explained that the earthquake that took place in the middle of the day (local time) was only a depth of ten kilometers and was located in the neighboring Myanmar.
