Comprehensive preparations for a serious educational start in 36 thousand schools with the participation of more than 500 thousand male and female teachers

Tomorrow, more than 6.5 million male and female students return to the study seats at various educational levels in public, private and international public education, after the end of the Eid Al -Fitr holiday.
Teachers and students resume the educational process in more than 36 thousand schools distributed over the various regions and governorates of the Kingdom, amid an integrated system of preparations that the Ministry of Education has harnessed to ensure a serious and safe educational start for the remainder of the third semester, with the effective participation of more than 500 thousand male and female teachers working to create a stimulating educational environment that contributes to improving learning outcomes and enhancing school discipline.

Summer time school time

In this context, the education departments in the various regions of the Kingdom began to announce the adoption of daylight saving time for school work, starting from tomorrow, Sunday, based on the different geographical sites and the timing of sunrise, in a way that achieves a balance between the regularity of the educational process and the appropriateness of the climatic conditions of each region.
Some education departments, including Riyadh, Al -Zulfi, Al -Aflaj, Al -Qawia, adopted the beginning of the morning alignment at 6:30 am, while other education departments such as Makkah, Taif, Bisha, Hafar Al -Batin, Dhahran Al -South, Al -Shaa, Asir, Muhayil Asir, Najran, Northern Borders, Al -Qassim and Afif, were identified the beginning of working hours at 6:45 am.
Education departments in Al -Baha, the eastern region, the northern border and Jeddah announced that the beginning of the school day will be at 7:00 am.
The adoption of daylight saving time comes within the framework of the Ministry of Education’s keenness to create the optimal educational environment for students and school staff, in line with climatic factors and temperatures in various regions.
For its part, the Ministry of Education confirmed that it has completed its preparations to resume the study, as more than 21 thousand educational buildings were equipped according to the highest safety and quality standards, and technical equipment and supportive educational facilities were provided, and to activate support and guidance plans in schools to ensure organized educational start. Official statistics indicate that the number of children in the kindergarten stage exceeded 420 thousand, while the number of primary students reached more than 3.2 million, and the number of middle school students is more than 1.5 million, while the number of high school students exceeded 1.3 million.
The third semester will witness a number of main stations that include the start of registration of new students in the first grade and kindergarten tomorrow, Sunday, April 6, followed by the availability of a program for external transportation movement on Monday, April 7, then the initial announcement of the names of the candidates for educational jobs on Thursday, April 10, with official interviews and confidences begin on Tuesday, April 29.
The study plan also includes a lengthy weekend on Sunday and Monday 4 and 5 May, while practical and oral tests begin on Sunday, May 25, and the Eid al -Adha holiday begins on Friday, May 30, and the study will be resumed on Sunday 15 June in conjunction with the launch of the final editorial tests, with the academic year to be concluded on Thursday, June 26, and the final names of candidates in educational jobs and signing contracts will be announced on Sunday 27 July.
These efforts come within the framework of the directions of the Ministry of Education compatible with the targets of the Kingdom’s 2030 vision, which puts education at the forefront of national development priorities, and seeks to build a leading educational system based on quality, and enhance the capabilities of male and female students and prepare them for the future, with the ministry emphasizing the importance of school discipline since the first day, because of its direct positive impact on promoting academic achievement and achieving educational and educational goals.
