The Kingdom and America are looking to expand joint cooperation in the mining sector

His Excellency the Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources, Mr. Bandar bin Ibrahim Al -Khar, held an official discussion session with His Excellency Chris Wright.
This comes within the framework of his current visit to the Kingdom, and the session discussed strengthening strategic relations between the two countries in and minerals.

This came in the presence of His Excellency the Deputy Minister for Mining Affairs Eng. Khaled bin Saleh Al -Mudayfar.
The meeting discussed the expansion of the horizons of joint cooperation in the mining sector, and to emphasize the importance of the mineral sector in energy transformation, the advanced technology industry, and modern economies related to clean energy.

This is in addition to its importance in the electric car industry and its components. The two parties discussed ways to enhance joint economic cooperation and qualitative investment opportunities in the two countries.

International Mining Conference 2026

They also discussed the possibilities provided to exploit these opportunities in a way that contributes to deepening the historical partnership between them.
The fall, the American Minister of Energy, called for the attendance of the 2026 International Mining Conference, which will be held in Riyadh next year.
