Shakira postpones her concerts in Jordan and India for this reason
The organizer of the international star Shakira’s concert in Aqaba, southern Jordan, announced the postponement of the date of the concert scheduled to be held on March 28, 2026, as part of her “Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran World Tour,” through an official statement.
The official statement issued by the organizer explained that making the decision to postpone was not easy, given the huge public turnout and the long wait for this main leg of Shakira’s world tour, but the current regional conditions imposed the necessity of rescheduling to ensure that the concert would go out in the best possible way.
The statement confirmed that the tickets are safe, as the organizers reassured the Jordanian and Arab public who had reserved their seats in advance, stressing that all purchased tickets will remain valid for the new date automatically without the need for any additional action.
In a flexible gesture, the organizer announced the opening of a full “refund of tickets” for those who will not be able to attend on the new date, within a time window extending for only one week immediately after the announcement of the expected date.
On the other hand, reports spread online that Shakira’s upcoming concert in the Indian city of Mumbai was also completely cancelled, as a result of escalating war tensions and growing security concerns in the region.
The local authorities and organizers took this decision after a comprehensive re-evaluation of safety procedures, stressing that protecting the public in these unstable conditions tops all priorities.
