In detail .. The Saudi Chambers Union organizes a meeting to support the Jerusalem empowerment fund
This meeting comes as an affirmation of the active role of the Federation in enhancing the contribution of the Saudi private sector to the issues of the Islamic nation, the most important of which is support in particular.
Empowering the Palestinian people
At the beginning of the meeting, Prince Turki bin Faisal expressed his appreciation for the role played by the Union and Chambers of Commerce in the field of charitable work, noting that the meeting comes in support of Palestine and the steadfastness of its people from the Kingdom’s fixed positions since the era of King Abdulaziz -may God have mercy on him -until the era of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and His Highness the Crown Prince -may God protect them -.
He said: “Palestine and Jerusalem in particular are going through difficult circumstances, which prepares to intensify efforts to enable the Palestinian people economically and socially through the Jerusalem empowerment fund.”
The meeting promised an opportunity to double the crowd, build partnerships, and expand work in light of the good reputation and global reputation. His Highness called on the Saudi business sector to support the Jerusalem empowerment fund based on its societal role and religious duty.

Establishing Islamic organizations
In his speech, the Vice -President of the Saudi Chambers Federation, Fayez bin Daar Al -Shuaili, praised the Kingdom’s efforts in supporting the issues of the Arab and Islamic nation and its pioneering role in establishing Islamic organizations, including the Islamic Development Bank and the Jerusalem Empowerment Fund, pointing to the role of the Saudi private sector in supporting development programs and economic projects for Islamic organizations, its achievements in the field of charitable and humanitarian actions, and its positive interaction with humanitarian campaigns under the umbrella of government agencies concerned in the Kingdom.
He expressed the union’s readiness to provide support for the “Jerusalem Empowerment Fund” programs, and to coordinate with the various concerned authorities at the local and international levels to achieve the fund’s targets.

Inspiring models in giving
The director of the Islamic Development Fund for Development, Adel Sharif, explained that the Kingdom, including the Saudi private sector, has provided inspiring models in giving and human contributions to become an example that is globally imitated in the values of solidarity and sustainable development, noting that the fund was based on an integrated development methodology to enhance cooperation and partnership between the private sector, development institutions and donors under the supervision of the Islamic Development Bank.
The Vice -Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Empowerment of Jerusalem, Munib Al -Masry, said: “The Kingdom is the older sister, the support of Palestine, and the land of giving and goodness with its leadership and its people,” appreciating its honorable positions to defend Palestine and the holy sites since the era of King Abdulaziz -may God have mercy on him -.
Religious and Arab duty
And that the fund’s development efforts are part of the religious and Arab duty in promoting the steadfastness of the Palestinian people and providing a decent life for them to remain on its soil.
The meeting witnessed a visual presentation on the Jerusalem Empowerment Support Fund, which was established in the year 2021 in its capacity as a reassuring and endowment fund under the management of the Islamic Development Bank based on the decision of the Board of Directors of the Islamic Solidarity Fund for Development, and aims to enable the Palestinian people economically and socially in Palestine in general and the city of Jerusalem in particular, where the activities of the fund focus on 4 main sectors: education, housing, community development and economic empowerment.
