Nations warning .. Iran is not far from owning the nuclear bomb

The Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency, Rafael Grossi, warned on Wednesday that Iran is “not far” about the development of a nuclear bomb, before his arrival in Tehran for talks.
Western countries, including the United States, have been suspected that Iran has been seeking to develop nuclear weapons, which Tehran constantly denies, stressing that its program is dedicated to peaceful civil purposes.

“It is more like a puzzle, they have pieces, and they may one day be able to collect it,” Grossi said, in an interview with the French newspaper Le Monde published on Wednesday.

He added: “They still have a distance to travel before they reach that stage, but they are not far away, we have to acknowledge it.”
“It is not enough to say to the international community, we do not have nuclear weapons to believe, we must be able to check this,” Grossi added.
The Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency arrived on Wednesday in Tehran, where Foreign Minister Abbas Araqji met, and it is also expected that the head of the Iranian Atomic Energy Organization, Mohammadi Islami.
The visit comes before a second round of talks between Iran and the United States on Saturday, a week after the two countries held the highest talks between them since the American withdrawal from the nuclear agreement in 2018.
