The Minister of Health discusses with his Italian counterpart ways to enhance joint cooperation

His Excellency the Minister of Health, Professor Fahd bin Abdul Rahman Al -Jaljel, met in Riyadh, His Excellency the Italian Minister of Health, Professor Orangeo Skilache. During the meeting, the two sides discussed ways to enhance joint cooperation in the health sector and exchange visions on a number of issues of common concern.

The two sides affirmed the depth and durability of the bilateral relations that bring together the Kingdom and Italy, praising the vital role played by the Strategic Partnership Council in supporting the paths of cooperation and expanding its horizons in various fields and in particular in the health field.

The Italian minister toured the command and control center and the virtual health hospital, praising the hospital and the digital and technical capabilities he had reached and the great access it achieved.

They pointed out the importance of exchanging experiences and knowledge in the two sides, participating in research, development, innovation and technologies used in the Virtual Health Hospital, and coordinating joint efforts in a way that contributes to supporting global health security and enhancing its ability to face future health challenges.
