المملكة: “Our Environment is a treasure” .. innovative and varied events in the Environment Week in the regions of the Kingdom

The Minister of Environment, Water and Agriculture, Engineer Abdul Rahman Al -Fadhli in Riyadh, will inaugurate the activities and exhibition of the Environment Week, under the slogan “Our Environment Kenz”, in the Square of Offers and Celebrations in the Eastern Ring Ring in the capital, Riyadh.
The inauguration ceremony includes visual presentations for the environment week, “Our Environment Kenz”, the launch of the National Environmental Performance Index, as well as the signing of agreements, environmental honor, and illustrations for children calling for the preservation of the environment.

Environmental Week activities and exhibition

This year’s edition of the Environment Week 2025 AD seeks to launch many innovative and varied events in all regions of the Kingdom, with wide participation in all regions and cities of the Kingdom from governmental and private agencies and members of society, and includes environmental exhibitions.
Besides workshops, scientific lectures, field activities, and awareness campaigns in the media and social media platforms, with the aim of spreading awareness and enabling society to protect the environment and preserving natural resources.

The Ministry of Environment called on all groups of society public and private institutions to contribute to building the green future by placing a fingerprint by participating in the activities of the Environment Week, spreading environmental awareness, and stimulating positive environmental behaviors among all groups of society.

The importance of preserving the environment

The activities of the Environment Week aim to raise the level of awareness of the importance of preserving the environment, spreading environmental culture, highlighting interest in the environment week, and consolidating the goals of the quality of life.
Also, activating the role of institutions and various government agencies in preserving the environment, raising the responsibility of individuals towards the environment, and preserving the environmental balance according to the targets of Vision 2030.
