“Barkan” begins the application of new parking tariffs in symbolic and WP

Parren has announced the start of the application of new parking tariffs for vehicles in Dubai, in areas bearing the W and WP symbols, as these symbols were identified in the first areas of Al -Qassis, Dignity, Dubai Navigational City and Control.

Parren stated that the first Al -Qassis area includes the W232 area and the Karama area bearing the W318 code, while Dubai is the navigational city of W321, while the subsistence area carries the symbol W324.

Parren explained that the tariff fees for the areas that carry the symbol WP are 6 dirhams/ hour during the peak hours, which are from 8 am until ten in the evening, and from four in the evening until eight in the evening, while the fees are 4 dirhams outside the peak hours. As for the areas that carry the symbol W, the parking fees are considered fixed at all times at a value of 4 dirhams/ hour, noting that the positions are free on Sunday and official holidays.

The company “Barkin” started the application of the flexible drawings of the distinctive situations, and the regular fees for the peak hours and outside in Dubai on the fourth of April, as part of its efforts to develop solutions to avoid crowding and facilitate the experience of the vehicle corner.

“Barkan” explained that the distinctive positions are public attitudes located in vital areas with high population density, or in commercial areas, in addition to sites near public transport stations, where they were carefully chosen to provide comfortable and easy options for drivers, which are determined by a decision of the Dubai Roads and Transport Authority.

She stated that the positions of the distinctive vehicles will be allocated strategically, to provide an easy access to drivers to the areas with high demand, especially those that are witnessing dense traffic or containing major shopping centers. These areas will be clearly distinguished through custom guiding panels and the tariff details offered on the parking lots. And the company “Barkan”, this month, began updating the symbols of areas subject to public parking fees in the Emirate of Dubai, which are determined by the extension panels of the positions, while some areas retained their current symbols.

“Barkan”, through its website and its digital platforms, explained that some areas have been changed in the categories “C”, “B”, “A” and “D” to “CP”, “BP”, “AP” and “DP” ..

She pointed out that customers can pay automatic payment without the need to wait, so that the parking reservation fees can be paid through the digital portfolio, by filling the electronic wallet and activating automatic payment, calling for the need to remember the abolition of automatic payment when returning to the vehicle to avoid withdrawing several additional fees, noting that this experience helps the customer avoid forgetting the payment fee for reserving parking, and thus exposure to violation.
