For minerals .. America oversees a pledge to achieve peace in the Congo

On Friday, US Secretary of State Marco Rubio supervised the signing of the Congo and Rwanda to a pledge to work to reach a peace agreement that facilitates the United States to reach vital minerals in the east of resource -rich Congo, so that the United States would exercise its influence on the mineral trade that helped ignite a conflict that killed millions for three decades.
Rubio’s participation in the signing ceremony in Washington with its counterparts from Central Africa is an early step in what the Trump administration describes as rebuilding the US foreign policy to focus on deals that achieve direct financial or strategic benefits to the United States.
