The golden lions are preparing to dazzle the world at the Venice Film Festival 2025

The attention of cinema fans and its stars, during the period between August 27 and the sixth of next September, is directed to the city of Venice (Venice) tourist in Italy, to follow the activities of the eighty -second session of the “Venice International Film Festival”, which is one of the oldest and most prominent cinematic festivals in the world.

The annual festival, as usual, is witnessing a group of the most prominent stars of art and cinema in the world, especially Hollywood stars, where it is expected that the film shows program participating in the festival competitions will be announced during the press conference that will be held at the end of next July.

The films participating in the “Venice International Film Festival” will compete for the nine awards, which are announced by the festival jury headed by Alexander Pine, and the membership of 9 international celebrities in the fields of cinema and culture from different countries, while the following official awards for feature feature films participating in the competition are: “The Golden Lion Award for Best Film”, and “The Silver Assad Award – Grand Jury Award, And “The Silver Assad Award – Best Director Award”, “The Folby Cup Award for Best Actress”, “The Folby Cup Award for Best Actor”, “Best Screenplay Award”, and “Special Jury Prize”, and “Marcelo Mastoyeian Award for Best Upperous Young Actress”.

Alexander Payne, chairman of the festival’s jury in its eighty -second session, came based on his prominent cinematic biography, an American director known for his films: “Holfover”, “Sidaiz”, “Nebraska”, “grandchildren”.

The official program includes a number of sections, including: “Venice 82”, “Out of the Official Competition”, “Orizonte”, “Venice Spot Light”, “Venice Classic” and “Venice Emersif”, as well as independent and parallel departments, including the International Critics Week (SIC) and the authors ’diaries, according to its independent regulations.

The festival also honors a group of stars working in the global cinema industry, and they are:

Kim Novak: American actress Kim Novak is awarded “The Golden Lion Award for Life Achievement”, in appreciation of her work: “Vertigo, Beckenik, Bell, Book and Sabin.”

Werner Herzog: German director and screenwriter Verner Herzog is awarded the “Golden Lion Award” in appreciation of his entire work, which are: “Agi, God’s wrath, Fitzkaraldo, Nosvirato vampire.”

The “Venice International Film Festival”, the oldest film festival in the world, was founded by Giuseppe Volby in 1932, and is held periodically on the island of LEDO in Venice, Italy, as the festival is considered one of the most brilliant festivals in the world, and is part of the international Venice (Venice), and is considered a huge art exhibition and a festival of contemporary art.

The corridors of the festival are always filled with senior international movie stars, who are proud to receive the festival awards, and one of the most famous artists who won the festival tournaments last year: Nicole Kidman “Best Actress”, Sarah Friedland “Best Direct”, Vinson Lindon “Best Actor”, and Brady Corbet “Best Director”.
