“Bahrain National” announces the promotion of Zina Al -Zayani and Ali Abdul Karim for leadership positions

The National Bank of Bahrain (NBB) has announced the promotion of two of its employees to leadership positions within the bank’s strategy to enhance national competencies, and enable them to take on active leadership roles in the banking sector.

Zeina Al -Zayani was promoted to the position of the head of the group’s strategy and sustainability, after her efficiency has proven during the past two years by assuming additional leadership responsibilities, and contributed a pivotal role in developing the expansion strategy, as well as its management of stock investment portfolio, which contributed to strengthening the fingerprint of sustainability and the bank’s position in the long run.

Zina Al Zayani will join the executive management team of Bahrain National Bank.

The bank also announced the promotion of Ali Abdul Karim to the position of the group’s CEO – banking services for companies and commercial institutions, after he succeeded in expanding the scope of his responsibilities and pushing the growth of the companies and public sector sectors.

His leadership has contributed to strengthening relations with customers and expanding coverage, in line with the group’s strategic goals.

These promotions reflect the bank’s commitment to invest in the development and refinement of Bahraini talents, and to raise the level of national competencies to become effective leaders that contribute to the growth and development of the banking sector in the Kingdom.
