"Ajman’s businesswomen “supports home agriculture projects

Ajman, May 3 / WAM / Dr. Amna Khalifa Al Ali, Chairman of the Ajman Businesswomen Council, confirmed the council to support and develop home agricultural projects through the “Azza and Aqsa” initiative, which falls within its strategy to enhance sustainable projects and contribute to achieving food security, in conjunction with the general community.
She explained that the council is working to follow up on existing agricultural projects, as well as launching new initiatives to establish refrigerated plastic agricultural houses, which enables women to produce healthy agricultural crops throughout the year, and turn them into projects with sustainable economic return.
She emphasized that the initiative reflects the commitment of the council to enhance the contribution of women in achieving the state’s directions in the field of food security, by transferring knowledge and providing continuous agricultural training and guidance in cooperation with the competent authorities in the fields of agriculture and modern agricultural technologies.
For her part, Halima Al Hammadi, the owner of the “cooled agricultural house” project, praised the council’s support, praising its role in transforming the experience of home agriculture into a promising investment project, stressing that the project witnessed a remarkable development in the diversity of crops and its quality thanks to modern agricultural techniques based on cooling and climate control, which enhances the opportunities for expansion and production throughout the year.
