The UAE shares the Arab League celebrating the International Intellectual Property Day

Cairo, May 6 / WAM / The Emirates Intellectual Property Society participates in the celebration organized by the League of Arab States today at its headquarters in Cairo, on the occasion of the International Intellectual Property Day for the year 2025, under the slogan: “Intellectual Property and Music: sensing the rhythm of intellectual property”.
The association represented in the celebration, His Excellency Major General Dr. Abdel -Quds Abdul Razzaq Al -Obaidli, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Emirates Intellectual Property Association, who reviewed during the event a working paper entitled: “The efforts of the Emirates Intellectual Property Association in promoting musical creativity within the framework of protecting intellectual property rights.”
Al -Obaidli highlighted the most prominent initiatives and projects launched by the association to support music creators, and to enhance a legal environment that stimulates innovation and creativity in the Emirates, in line with the strategic directions to enhance the knowledge economy in the region.
His Excellency stressed that the association’s participation comes within the framework of supporting regional efforts to consolidate awareness of the importance of protecting intellectual property rights, especially in creative fields such as music, which is a basic pillar of the Arab creative economy.
He added that this participation embodies the association’s commitment to its pioneering role in spreading the culture of intellectual property, stressing the importance of enhancing coordination and cooperation between Arab institutions to face future challenges in this vital field.
