The success of the Egyptian parasite season, “Mohamed Abdel Rahman Jumaa”

The Saudi medical and surgical team affiliated with the Saudi -adherent twins program – praise God – managed today to separate the Egyptian parasite “Mohamed Abdel Rahman Jumaa”, at King Abdullah Specialist Hospital for Children in King Abdulaziz Medical City for the National Guard in Riyadh, after a complex surgery that took (8) hours, carried out (6) stages, and (26) consultants, specialists, nursing and technical cadres participated in it Anesthesia, neurosurgery, pediatric surgery and plastic surgery and the rest of the supporting specialties. His Excellency the advisor at the Royal Court, General Supervisor of the King Salman Center for Relief and Humanitarian Action, head of the medical and surgical team, Dr. Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al -Rabiah, explained that the parasitic twin was separated from the child Muhammad as expected before the operation; Due to the lack of the ingredients for life, such as the heart and head, and the presence of birth defects that hinder life, and cannot be corrected, in addition to the lack of synthesis of the kidneys, urinary, and reproductive system and the presence of large failure in the intestine, beneficial that this information was known before the operation, and was explained to the child’s parents.

His Excellency pointed out that this process comes in response to the generous directives from the wise leadership – may God support it – and the operation No. (63) is within the Saudi program for adhesive twins, explaining that the program has been able since (1990) to provide care for (149) cases of twin attached from (27) sister and friendly countries.

Dr. Al -Rabiah thanked and appreciated the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and to His Royal Highness Prince Muhammad bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince, Prime Minister -may God protect them -for the unlimited support that the program receives, stressing that these medical successes represent one of the bright images of the Kingdom’s presence in the international arena as a state of charitable and humanitarian work.

He expressed his thanks to the members of the medical and surgical team for their efforts and high efficiency and skill, stressing that this achievement reflects the lofty human values ​​from which the Saudi leadership starts, and expresses the Kingdom’s human message by reliefing the needy and contributing to improving the quality of life around the world, in line with the targets of the Kingdom’s 2030 vision to develop the health sector and upgrade its services.
