المملكة: Weapons and drugs .. 1165 customs smuggling cases were seized within a week

The land, sea, and air customs outlets recorded 1165 cases of controls for contraband, within the framework of the ongoing efforts made by the “Zakat, Tax and Customs” Authority to enhance the security aspect and protect society from contraband of various types and forms.
The seized items included 69 varieties of narcotic substances, such as hashish, cocaine, heroin, youth, Captagon pills, etc., in addition to 720 prohibited materials.

The customs outlets also witnessed the frustration of 1775 tobacco and its derivatives, along with 76 items for sums of money, and 18 items of weapons and their supplies.
The Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority confirmed that it is continuing to tighten customs control over the Kingdom’s imports and exports, in order to achieve the security and protection of society, in cooperation and continuous coordination with all its relevant partners.
At the same time, the authority called on everyone to contribute to combating smuggling to protect society and the national economy, by communicating with it on the number designated for security communications (1910) or via e -mail ([email protected]) Or the international number (009661910), where the authority through these channels receives the reports related to smuggling crimes and violations of the provisions of the unified customs system, with complete confidentiality, while granting a financial reward to the reported in the event of the validity of the communication information.
