The Global Center for Fighting Extremist Thought “Moderation” monitored the use of terrorist organizations more than 1.2 million electronic links; In order to escape digital monitoring, and direct users to alternative contents.
“Moderation” explained that terrorist organizations are adopting deceptive means for the purpose of circumventing monitoring operations, including using links to redirect users.
While dealing with these methods, including removing more than 1.2 million electronic links, are taking place during the first quarter of this year, according to the results announced by the center for the efforts of the partnership with the “Telegram” platform.

The content of alternative links varies between digital files that include extremist advertising content, websites that host prohibited or difficult to follow, and groups and channels on weak control platforms.
It is noteworthy that the “moderation” center recently announced its joint efforts with the “Telegram” platform in addressing extremist propaganda for the first quarter of 2025 AD, as it managed to remove 16,062,667 extremist materials, in addition to closing 1,408 extremist channels.
