Because of the heavy rains … Australia floods isolate 50 thousand people

The overwhelming floods invaded the northern coast of the Australian state of New South Wales, and resulted in isolating more than 50 thousand people, amid continued heavy rains and the rise in rivers.

Continuous rescue operations

The state’s emergency services authority confirmed the implementation of more than 500 rescue operations during the past twenty -four, while dozens of schools are still closed in anticipation of the deterioration of the situation.
The warnings included the areas of McCly, Hastings and Maning rivers, as thousands of families living near the waterways were affected.
The authorities have recorded the death of one person so far, at a time when rescue teams have warned of the continuation of the floods and sudden floods in a number of affected areas.
