An Emirati economic delegation visits Côte d’Ivoire to discuss enhancing cooperation

Abidjan, May 26/ WAM/ organized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and in coordination with the Federation of Chambers of Commerce and Industry, visited a high -level economic delegation from the UAE, headed by His Excellency Hamid Mohammed bin Salem, Secretary General of the Federation of Chambers of Commerce and Industry, the capital of the Republic of Côte d’Ivoire, Abidjan, where he met his happiness with the delegation a number of high -level figures, led by government ministers in Cote d’Ivoire.

During the meetings, ways to enhance bilateral relations between the UAE and the Republic of Cote d’Ivoire, especially the development of economic and commercial cooperation, and discussing investment opportunities in several sectors, including tourism, renewable energy, and banking and financial services.

The visit culminated in the signing of a memorandum of understanding regarding the establishment of a business council between the state and the Republic of Côte d’Ivoire, as it was signed by His Excellency Hamid bin Salem, Secretary -General of the Federation of Chambers of Commerce and Industry in the UAE, and His Excellency Famman Toure, President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry in the Republic of Cote d’Ivoire.

The economic delegation included representatives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, His Excellency Ali Youssef Al -Nuaimi, the UAE ambassador to the Republic of Cote d’Ivoire, the UAE Chambers Union, the Edge Group, the Pressite Company, the Amia Power, the Infiniti Power, Aribian Falcon, Speus 42, Abu Dhabi First Bank, and ADNOC.
