More than (200) medical deportation staff receive ambulatory reports during the Hajj season

The Saudi Red Crescent Authority intensified the preparations of the medical deportation center, which represents the first starting point for dealing with the ground field ambulances, as part of its comprehensive readiness for the Hajj season 1446 AH. The authority harnessed more than (200) qualified cadres from doctors, specialists, two departments, operations operators, and observers, to receive emergency reports via the number (997) and applications “Askni”, “Tawakklina”, “My Health”, and provide urgent medical instructions according to the approved “medical emergency transmission” protocol.

The authority was keen to distribute coordinators from its employees with the relevant authorities such as civil defense, public security, and the unified center (911), with the aim of facilitating the tasks of the emergency teams, ensuring speed of access to the injured, and cooperation in facilitating transit procedures, which contributes to saving the time and effort necessary to transfer cases to the nearest integrated medical facility.

The body has developed the technical aspect of the medical deportation center this year by introducing artificial intelligence techniques to translate immediate calls for non -Arabic pilgrims, in a move that contributes to raising the accuracy of information and improving the efficiency of dealing with reports.

The stages of the communication include identifying the caller data, and the confirmation of the reporting site accurately using various means such as automated identification and modern communication services, in addition to classifying the health status and determining the number of injured people and their characteristics, to determine the appropriate response according to smart systems, and to provide pre -arrival medical instructions, and transfer the communication to the command and control center to direct the nearest emergency division, the conduct of the reports is followed up until the field teams reach the site, with the aim of providing care Emergency ambulance with efficiency and professionalism.

This integration and coordination comes between the medical deportation center, the command and control center, air operations and relevant sectors, to reflect the commitment of the authority to harness all human and technical capabilities to ensure the highest levels of readiness, and provide the best emergency services to the guests of Rahman during the Hajj season.
