59% of residents of the Emirates are looking for unfamiliar destinations

The results of a survey conducted by the “Sky Sixer” platform specializing in the field of travel revealed that more than half of the residents in the UAE intend to spend their summer vacation outside the country this year, while many of them aim to explore new destinations that were not among their plans in advance, in order to achieve the maximum benefit from the leave.
The data reported that 55% of the survey participants are planning to travel abroad in the summer, while 59% expressed its willingness to choose unconventional destinations, while 48% have not yet determined its destination yet, as the available options are still compared before the reservation.
And “Sky Sixer” pointed out that the residents of the UAE have multiple visa exemptions that allow them to enter a number of countries easily, and each of the geographical location of the UAE and its direct flight network contributes to making the travel experience more flexible and smooth.
“Sky Sixer” highlighted three family destinations without a visa for residents in the UAE, namely: Georgia, which the searches increased by 21% last April, Montenegro, and Kazakhstan.
“Many parents are taking advantage of the summer vacation, which coincides with the end of the school year, to take place in new experiences in less congestion and more valuable destinations,” said Ayoub Al -Mamoun.
He added, “The trend has become clear towards places that offer an authentic experience at reasonable prices, with activities that suit all family members and allow them to explore new cultures and environments.”
