“Higher Education” warns of fake links to receive exception requests from study standards abroad

The Ministry of Higher Education has warned of the spread of unconventional links and models that claim to receive requests for exception from the study standards outside the country, and confirmed that it has not issued or adopted any links or models outside its official channels>

The Ministry stressed the need to avoid entering data or mobilizing any model that has not been published through the official website or official accounts of the Ministry.

Resolution No. (5) of 2025 was legislation issued by the Council of Education, Human Development and Society, aiming to organize and control the process of studying higher education for citizens of citizens outside the state. The decision includes setting mandatory criteria and controls to ensure the quality of education that Emirati students receive abroad, in addition to ensuring that the scientific qualifications they receive officially recognized and can be used within the country.

The decision allowed scholarships the possibility of submitting an exception request in the case of specializations and universities that do not apply to the conditions for studying higher education for citizens of citizens outside the state.

The ministry stated that a single -time application can be submitted that cover a number of specializations and universities in general instead of each personal case, and the student can submit a “exception request” through the website of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, and the committee for exceptions will study the request, as decision makers realize that there are exceptional cases that may require granting some flexibility.

Accordingly, these cases will be presented and considered carefully due to considerations of the scholarship, the scholarship state, the type of specialization, the conditions of the student, or other justified reasons.
