These efforts aim to ensure adherence to health standards and raise the level of food safety in the region.

The director of the Food Safety Laboratory of the Tabuk Municipality, Eng. Abdulaziz Al -Raqabi, explained that the laboratory works included accurate examinations on food and oils, the apparent examination of (299) food samples, the detection of a tear of meat for (143) samples, a tank of fish for (35) samples, a test of frying oils for (156) samples, and the temperature measurement in the storage rooms for (325) Test, the tours resulted in the destruction of (69) kg of food that is not suitable for consumption and (23) liters of frying oils that do not conform to the specifications, in addition to withdrawing (65) food samples to conduct micro -laboratory analyzes to ensure their quality and safety.

He stressed that the Secretariat is committed to continuing its supervisory efforts through the food safety laboratory to preserve the health of society, and to enhance the quality of services provided in food facilities in the region.
