Abu Dhabi, July 14/ WAM/ The General Authority for Islamic Affairs, Endowments and Zakat received financial support of 21 million dirhams from Dubai Islamic Bank, in favor of the Zakat projects implemented by the authority, within the framework of institutional partnership and integration in community service, and as a federal body specialized in zakat in the state.
His Excellency Dr. Omar Habtoor Al -Darai, Chairman of the General Authority for Islamic Affairs, Endowments and Zakat, valued this initiative from Dubai Islamic Bank, which reflects the spirit of cooperation and integration between the two sides in the distribution of Zakat funds through reliable channels, legitimate and administratively framed, indicating that the authority has a database of those who are entitled at the state level and is subject to periodic update, and is managed within an integrated digital system, which guarantees the arrival of Zakat To those who deserve it accurately and effectively.
Al -Darai said that this support is a real translation of the values of social responsibility, and embodies the authenticity of the Emirati approach in extending a helping hand to the needy, stressing that the authority is happy with this strategic partnership that contributes to promoting social stability and achieving the aspirations of the state in achieving solidarity and sustainable development.
