Tunisia, July 14/ WAM/ The twin students, Bisan and Bilsan Kouka, won the title of Arab Reading Challenge challenge in its ninth session at the level of the Republic of Tunisia, out of 128666 students, who represented 2100 schools, under the supervision of 5820 supervisors and supervisors in the ninth session.
The twin students were announced as a sixth grade in the February 8, 1958 School, from the CAF delegate, during the closing ceremony of the ninth session of the Arab Reading Challenge hosted by Tunis, in the presence of His Excellency Noureddine Al -Nuri, Minister of Education in the Tunisian Republic, and His Excellency Dr. Iman Ahmed Al -Salami, the UAE ambassador to the Tunisian Republic, and the participation of Dr. Fawzan Al -Khaldi, Director of Programs and Initiatives in the Foundation “Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum International Initiatives”, and a large crowd of those interested in educational and cultural affairs and parents of students participating in the competitions.
Also at the closing ceremony was honored by Ali Bossaq from the CAF delegate, after winning the title of “Distinguished Supervisor”, and the Hafar Al -Mahfar School from the Bizerte delegate with the title of “Distinguished School”.
In the category of people of determination, which participated in its competition, 111 male and female students, the Arab Reading Challenge, Rahma Boudin, was crowned from the second year of high school in the Al -Nour School for the Blind of the Bin Arous delegate with the title of this category.
He went up to the final qualifiers in the ninth session of the Arab Reading Challenge at the level of the Tunisian Republic, 10 male and female students, and the list included the two twin students, Bisan and Bilsan Kokah, the first place, both: Tasnim Al -Jawadi from the third grade of science at the Model Institute School in Sidi Bouzid, affiliated (Gabes), Muhammad Al -Jawadi from the ninth grade in the preparatory school of Burj Al -Tawil (Ariana), Islam Majul from the ninth grade in the preparatory school of Al -Shabi (Siliana), and the feast of the sixth grade in the Al -Asad School (Sfax), and the birth of the sixth grade in the Al -Suwani Road School (Zaghouan), and Abdul Rahman Alwani from the third grade of science at the Al -Qasserin Institute (Al -Qasrin) Al -Mandili from the first secondary class in the Al -Wafa Institute School (Ariana), and Maryam Faraj from the fifth grade in the school of the martyrs of the guard (Sfax).
The ninth session of the Arab Reading Challenge initiative witnessed the largest reading demonstration of its kind in the Arabic language in the world, an unprecedented participation of 32 million and 231 thousand students from 50 countries representing 132112 schools, and under the supervision of 161004 supervisors and supervisors.
His Excellency Noureddine Al -Nuri said that the Tunisian participation in the ninth session of the Arab Reading Challenge expresses the keenness of the Tunisian Ministry of Education to interact with this inspiring knowledge initiative, and to encourage Tunisian students to compete with its competitions with a great focus and make the utmost efforts to win its title at the level of the participating countries during the final stage that is taking place in Dubai.
He added that the message of spreading culture between the emerging generations is receiving great attention from the official and community authorities in the Tunisian Republic, and it represents a top priority in the plans and programs of the Ministry of Education in the country, which we note in the high knowledge outcome of Tunisian students and their keenness to develop their talents and competencies in various science Our daughters to express a high -level cultural and linguistic stock that preaches a bright future, in line with Tunisia’s vision of sustainable development based on knowledge.
His Excellency congratulated the winners and winners of the first positions in the ninth session at the level of the Republic of Tunisia, and the parents of the students participating in the qualifiers, appreciating the vital role of the “Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum International Initiatives” in the advancement of the knowledge and cultural reality in the Arab world.
For his part, Dr. Fawzan Al -Khalidi stressed that the Tunisian participation in the ninth session of the Arab Reading Challenge was characterized by great cooperation between the Tunisian Ministry of Education and the “Mohamed bin Rashid Al Maktoum International Initiatives” Foundation, and the integration of the efforts of all Tunisian educational cadres, which resulted in a renewed success of the reading initiative in its ninth session at the level of Tunisia.
He said that the Arab reading challenge continues its journey in registering records, and the ninth session succeeded in attracting more than 32.2 million students, bringing the total students participating in the challenge competitions through nine sessions to more than 163 million students, which shows the broad horizons that this reading demonstration opens before students, in order to enhance optimism with the ability of new generations to resume Arab civilization and enhance the place of language Diability, and benefit from the knowledge achievement of other global cultures.
Dr. Fawzan Al -Khalidi congratulated the Arab Reading Challenge challenges at the level of Tunisia, and all the families of male and female students participating in the competitions, stressing the commitment of the “Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum International Initiatives” commitment to continue developing the challenge for the permanent elevation of the cultural level of Arab students.
The Arab Reading Challenge, organized by the “Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum International Initiatives” Foundation, aims to be launched in its first session in the 2015-2016 academic year under the directives of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai “may God bless him”, to enhance the importance of reading among students participating at the level of the Arab world and the world, and developing mechanisms of assimilation and self -expression in a sound Arabic language, and developing creative thinking skills, up to the way Enriching the knowledge content available in the Arabic language, and consolidating the values of communication, acquaintance, dialogue and openness to different cultures.
