Dubai, July 14 / WAM / The Board of Directors of the Emirates Health Services Foundation, during its meeting in Dubai, discussed the developments of transformational and strategic projects, which contributes to promoting the sustainability of health services and achieving the goals and vision of the institution.

The meeting was chaired by His Excellency Dr. Mohamed Salim Al -Alami, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Emirates Health Services Foundation, in the presence of His Excellency Dr. Youssef Mohamed Al -Serkal, Director General of the Foundation, and members of the Council; Where the levels of institutional performance were discussed during the first half of 2025.

Dr. Mohamed Salim Al -Ulama stressed that the meeting comes in an important stage to determine the tangible progress in transformational projects and strategic initiatives, which enhances the readiness of the institution and the sustainability of its services according to the best standards, indicating that the next stage will witness a greater focus on expanding the scope of digital transformation and enhancing innovation practices, attracting and enabling the best national competencies, in line with the state’s directions in developing an advanced health model And sustainable.

The Council reviewed the developments of the genome project, which aims to provide accurate and personal health care that depends on genetic data, and contributes to improving public health, and reviewed the results of the Emirati genome program and the genetic examination program for those coming to marriage and the personal medicine program, as well as developments in the transfer projects approved within the institution’s strategic plan for the year 2024 and 2025.

The meeting also dealt with the recommendations of the Audit and Risk Committee, which reviewed the reports of financial performance and internal auditing, and the recommendations of the Development and Improvement Committee on the developments of strategic initiatives, in order to enhance the efficiency of operations and ensure the continuity of improving performance.

The Council discussed a number of future proposals aimed at supporting the quality of life and enhancing the sustainability of the services of the Foundation, through a flexible and integrated system that focuses on humans, and keeps pace with technical developments and societal changes, in line with the directions of the UAE government aimed at enhancing health leadership at the regional and international levels.
