Wizer Economic Aviation announced the suspension of its operations in Abu Dhabi, starting from next September 1, in preparation for its full withdrawal, in a move that the company attributed to “operational challenges” and “geopolitical developments” in the region.

At the beginning of its work, “Wizer” focused on the beginning of its work on the central and eastern Europe markets, but it expanded to work in Britain, Italy and Austria. She said in the future to focus on European markets that generate a higher profit.

The CEO of the company, Joseph Faraadi, said in a statement: “Despite the difficulty of the decision, the right decision under the current circumstances,” explaining that the operational environment witnessed radical changes as a result of the restrictions of supply chains, geopolitical instability in the region, and the reduction of opportunities to reach the markets, which made it difficult to preserve the original expansion goals.

The company stressed that not obtaining flying rights for some tracks also means its inability to grow in the region as she hoped.

“Wizer” launched its project in Abu Dhabi in 2020, setting up its eyes to build a fleet of 100 aircraft in 15 years.
