"Emirates College for Educational Development" Host "Universities gathering early childhood development"

Abu Dhabi, July 14 / WAM / The Emirates College for Educational Development hosted the third edition of the “leading universities gathering in early childhood development”, organized by the Abu Dhabi Early Childhood Authority, with the participation of 11 universities and an academic institution from all over the country, with the aim of enhancing cooperation between the academic sector and the bodies concerned with developing the early childhood sector in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi.

The assembly activities witnessed the introduction of the Emirates College of Educational Development a set of initiatives and research projects that reflect its strategic direction towards supporting innovation in this vital sector, including the “interactive play laboratory”, the “conceptual playing world at work”, and a dialogue session on “converting the work environment in the early childhood” reviewed the results of research led by the college with funding from the Abu Dhabi Early Childhood Authority, and aims to develop Work environments in the sector and activate play -based education methods.

Dr. Mai Laith Al -Taie, Director of the Emirates College for Educational Development, stressed the importance of the pivotal role of academic and educational institutions in supporting national efforts to empower competencies and talents working in the field of early childhood development, because of this direct impact in achieving the vision of rational leadership towards providing integrated and comprehensive environments that support healthy and healthy growth for children.

Al -Taie pointed out that the college, through its partnership with the Abu Dhabi Early Childhood Authority and the institutions of the academic sector, is working to transform the results of scientific research into practical practices that contribute to developing the sector and improving the lives of children, and enabling its workers to perform their roles efficiently and sustainable effectiveness.

For her part, Dr. Hessa Al -Kaabi, Executive Director of the Special Projects Sector and Partnerships at the Abu Dhabi Early Children’s Authority, explained that cooperation with higher education institutions is an essential pillar in supporting early childhood development, through studies and data based on evidence, which enables more effective decisions to serve the child.

The gathering witnessed a wide participation of academics, researchers and policy makers, as success stories were highlighted from the universities of the state, including Al Ain University initiatives in developing educational programs and Emirates University in promoting awareness of the importance of early childhood, as well as the projects and initiatives of the authority with a sustainable societal impact.

This continuous cooperation emphasizes the importance of integrating government policies and scientific research in building a sustainable and stimulating educational environment for future generations in Abu Dhabi.
