Abu Dhabi, July 20/ WAM/ Mubadala Investment Company (Mubadala) announced today that it will officially start working on the project to develop the waterfront for the island of Al -Maria, which is expected to constitute a qualitative shift in the experience of the modern life provided by the island, and enhances its position as a leading global destination for living, work and entertainment in Abu Dhabi.

Participated in the inauguration ceremony – which witnessed the laying of the foundation stone – both Walid al -Muqr al -Muhairi, the executive vice president of the “Mubadala” group, and Dr. Bakhit Al -Kathiri, CEO of the investment sector in the Emirates at “Mubadala”.

The project includes a group of global -level facilities and experiences, designed carefully to provide an integrated and interactive modern lifestyle that meets the aspirations of the population and visitors alike.
