المملكة: Al-Rabiah: There is no Hajj except with a regular visa… and the rituals cannot be performed with an Umrah visa – urgent


The Ministry held today, via video call, the seventeenth regular meeting with , under the patronage of His Excellency the Minister of Hajj and Umrah, Dr. Tawfiq bin Fawzan Al-Rabiah.

On the occasion of the conclusion of the Umrah season for the year 1447 AH, and with the participation of a number of the ministry’s leaders and representatives of Umrah companies, within the framework of strengthening the partnership with the sector, evaluating the results of the season, and identifying the most prominent successes and challenges.

Serving the Guests of God

The meeting began with a speech by His Excellency the Minister, during which he appreciated the efforts of the companies. Umrah, its cooperation during the Ramadan season, and the work it did that contributed to serving the guests of God and addressing the conditions of troubled pilgrims and returning them to their destinations.

He stressed the importance of continuing compliance with the regulations and instructions regulating the Umrah season, including sending pilgrims to airports according to the specified dates, and constantly updating their departure data via the Umrah platform. "Follow a path"In addition to calling on companies to actively participate in the Umrah and Visitation Forum in its third edition.

He stressed the controls governing the Hajj season, stressing that there is no Hajj except with a regular Hajj visa, and Hajj cannot be performed with an Umrah visa, recalling the regulatory dates for the Umrah season.

Umrah visas

The last date for issuing Umrah visas will be on the first of Shawwal, and the last date for entry. Umrah pilgrims will arrive in the Kingdom on the fifteenth of Shawwal, with the last date for their stay in the Kingdom being the first of the month of Dhul-Qi’dah.

The meeting included a presentation of the most prominent indicators of the Umrah season and the successes achieved during it, in addition to preparations for the Umrah and Visitation Forum in its third edition for the year 2026 AD, and the role that the Forum represents in supporting partnerships, exchanging experiences, and reviewing the available opportunities in a way that contributes to improving the Umrah and Visitation services system.

This meeting comes within the periodic meetings organized by the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah with Umrah companies, with the aim of enhancing communication with sector partners and following up on the development of the system of services provided to the guests of God, in order to achieve the goals of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 in improving the experience of the pilgrim and the visitor.
