The ruling coalition in Japan may lose the majority in the House of Advisors

Voter views after the vote showed that the ruling coalition in Japan, made up of the Free Democratic Party led by Prime Minister Xigero Ishiba and the Cometo party, may lose its majority in the House of Advisors (248) seats, as it is expected to obtain only (32 and 51) seats. This result is among the weakest since the formation of the coalition in (1999), which may lead to the escalation of political pressures on Ishiba, especially after the majority of the majority in the House of Representatives in the last October elections.
