37356 issued and renewed licenses in Sharjah during the first half

Sharjah, on July 21 / WAM / The Economic Development Department in Sharjah revealed that the total issued and renewed business licenses in the emirate reached 37 thousand and 356 licenses of 8% growth for the same period last year.

In its report for the first half of this year, the department clarified that commercial licenses were issued with a total of 23,945 licenses, with a growth rate of 7%.

The licenses issued and renewed were distributed during the first half of the current year according to the branches, where the industrial branch is issued with 16904 licenses and 9% growth from the first half of last year and the main center with 13968 licenses with a growth of 8% and the central region branch of 3620 licenses 6% and the Khorfakkan branch 1445 licenses 4% and the branch of Kalba is 1165 licenses with a growth of 3% and Dibba Al -Hosn branch 254 licenses with 3% growth from The first half of last year.

The Sharjah Economy carried out 78,887 supervisory rounds on various economic facilities in the emirate during the first half of this year.

The total “commercial and gold” scales reached 1950 mezzles, a growth rate of 56% compared to the first half of last year.

His Excellency Hamad Ali Abdullah Al -Mahmoud, Head of the Economic Development Department in Sharjah, stressed that the economic sectors in Sharjah continue to grow so that the emirate will be at the forefront of investment destinations in the region.

Al -Mahmoud expressed his appreciation for all efforts that joined this economic performance, appreciating the results of these efforts confirming the success of development strategies and the feasibility of fruitful cooperation between the government and private sectors.
