15 cultural projects at the end of the speed of literature, publishing and translation

The Literature, Publishing and Translation Authority concluded yesterday evening, “The speed of literature, publishing and translation”, at a ceremony held in Riyadh, in the presence of a group of representatives of the cultural sector and participating entrepreneurs, to celebrate the qualification of 15 leadership projects in the fields of literature, publishing and translation.
The speed started last January, targeting the empowerment of cultural projects, during which 15 projects qualified, distributed on two main tracks: 8 projects within the “Path of the incubator”, and 7 within the “Path of the Wind”.
During the speed period, the participants underwent an intense program that included training workshops, specialized consultations, technical and marketing support, as well as linking experts and investors to prepare projects to start the market.

Supporting cultural entrepreneurs

The ceremony was started with a speech delivered by the CEO of the Authority, Dr. Abdul Latif Al -Wasel, during which he stressed that the accelerator represents a strategic station in supporting cultural entrepreneurs and turning creative ideas into projects that can be growing and sustainability.
He pointed out that the empowerment of innovation in this sector is an important tributary to achieve the target of the national strategy of culture, within the Kingdom’s 2030 vision.
The speech recited a visual presentation reviewing the most prominent speeding stations, then the participating teams presented an overview of their projects in front of the attendees, before the event concluded by honoring the participants and inviting the guests to visit the project wings and see their outputs.

The speed is one of the qualitative initiatives of the Literature, Publishing and Translation Authority, which aims to support startups and creative projects in the fields of literature, publishing and translation, through an intense program that provides high -level educational and training opportunities.
These efforts fall within the authority’s strategy to enhance the integration of culture with technology, stimulate innovation in the creative sectors, in a way that contributes to achieving the target of the national strategy of culture, and converting cultural creativity into a sustainable economic and societal tributary, according to the Kingdom’s 2030 vision.
