"Council of Muslim Elders" He strongly condemns the storming of the blessed Al -Aqsa Mosque
Abu Dhabi, August 6 / WAM / The Council of Muslim Elders, headed by His Eminence the Grand Imam, Dr. Ahmed Al -Tayeb, Sheikh Al -Azhar Al -Sharif, strongly condemned Etamar bin Ghafir, Minister of National Security of the Israeli occupation government and settlers of the blessed Al -Aqsa Mosque under the protection of the Israeli occupation police.
In a statement issued today, the Council affirmed its categorical rejection of such provocative practices, which represent an extremist act and a flagrant violation of international laws and covenants, calling for the need to stop these repeated attacks, and the accompanying incitement campaigns against hatred and violence and holding those involved in them, and working to provide adequate protection for religious sanctities and stopping continuous violations against the Holy Mosque.
The council renewed its call to the international community to take urgent measures to stop these violations and all forms of aggression against the Palestinian people, and to work to find a just and comprehensive solution to the Palestinian cause, ending the suffering of the Palestinian people for more than 70 years, and acknowledges the legitimacy of the project in establishing their independent state with its capital, Al -Quds Al -Sharif.
