Trump imposes additional customs duties on India … and New Delhi describes the decision as "Unjustified"

WASHINGTON – New Delhi on August 6 / WAM / US President Donald Trump today issued an executive order imposing additional customs duties by 25% on imports from India, raising the total fees on some Indian goods to 50%.

In response to the decision, the Indian government described the American measures as “unfair and unjustified”, and pledged to take all necessary measures to protect its national interests.
