Tripoli celebrates cinema .. 43 films and logo "Cross -border" The festival decorates
The management of the Tripoli Film Festival announced the list of films participating in the official competition for its twelfth session, scheduled for between 18 and 24 September 2025 in different places of the Lebanese city of Tripoli.
The list includes 30 short films and 13 long films from all over the world, in addition to two films shown outside the official competition, in a combination that reflects the diversity of cinematic visions and innovative approaches to multiple humanitarian and cultural issues.

The festival administration revealed the official poster of this year’s version, which came under the slogan & quot; Transcending Borders & ndash; Express the borders & quot;, as an expression of the festival’s message in overcoming geographical, cultural and intellectual barriers through the language of global cinema. The design embodies the idea of freeing cinema from restrictions through a film tape that turns into a red balloon in the sky, in a symbolic reference to the launch of the cinematic imagination and its ability to fly away.

The Organizational Committee also announced the granting of the Life Award for this year to the great Lebanese director and artist, Faeqri, in appreciation of his decades’ artistic career, and contributed to the consolidation of a distinguished Lebanese cinematic identity and supporting young talents, as well as his theatrical and cinematic works that dealt with the issues of Lebanese society with boldness and high sensitivity.
