Hajras: The Supreme Council for Women is a pivotal turning point in the history of Bahrain

The Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Bahrain Real Estate Development Association, Eng. Aref Hajras, the highest verses of congratulations and blessings, to Her Royal Highness Princess Sabika bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa, the wife of His Majesty the King, Chairman of the Supreme Council for Women, and to all who contributed to supporting the march of Bahraini women through this pioneering national edifice.

He said, “The founding of the Supreme Council for Women was a pivotal turning point in the history of the Kingdom of Bahrain, as it embodied a deep vision and a deep belief in the capabilities of Bahraini women, and strengthened its presence as an active partner in the comprehensive development process in the Kingdom.

He added, “We in the private sector are witnessing and seeing the great impact that the council caused on the ground, through qualitative policies and initiatives that established the pillars of empowering women, and provided them with the appropriate environment for excellence, innovation and the real contribution to the national economy.

He pointed out that the gains and achievements achieved for Bahraini women during the past years, would not have been achieved without the blessed efforts of the Supreme Council of Women, which succeeded in establishing the position of Bahraini women in the heart of the development process, and made them a model to follow at the level of the region.

He stressed, “We celebrate this blessed anniversary, we emphasize in the private sector our full commitment to support the efforts of the Supreme Council for Women, and work alongside him to achieve more qualitative achievements.” Pointing out that “empowering women is not the responsibility of one party, but rather a shared national responsibility, which requires the solidarity of all sectors and community institutions, to ensure the sustainability of what is achieved, and expand the circle of opportunities for women’s competencies in various fields.”

He concluded by saying, “I renew the congratulations on this dear national occasion, wishing the council the success of success in performing its noble message, and our dear kingdom has more progress and prosperity.”
